

Put it in your actual Skyrim game folder, then add it to MO2 as an executable for it to work properly. Nemesis, the application used for animation patching, didn't work with the MO2 virtual filesystem under a WINE environment due to some weird ways it detects filepaths. Using Proton versions prior to, I think, 6.0 also means you'll need to set a dll override for Skyrim to make the audio work properly, ProtonDB has this well documented. This is mainly because I'm using an older Proton version though (5.0-1), I'm fairly sure the more current Glorious Eggroll builds (6.5 or so) will work with all the necessary applications. MO2 I used 2.2.2.1, LOOT I used the second most recent version. Some of the tools you'll need certain versions of, due to regressions in WINE and such. You need dotnet35 (and SP1), dotnet48, dotnet5, vcrun2012 and vcrun2019, all installable via winetricks.
